Great pool for little ones | Rating : 5 | on : 2009-07-06
We bought this pool for our 16 month old twins. They LOVE it. It is a nice size - roomy enough for 5. I can\'t imagine blowing it up manually, but it inflates in under 2 minutes using the air compressor. It has nice size drain plugs that are difficult enough to open that the kids can\'t get it open \"accidentally.\" The part behind the slide is a separate compartment that can be filled independantly from the rest of the pool so it can be made deeper or more shallow.

Having aired the slide up via aircompressor it worked fine with wet kids and the sprinkler jets on for our 25-28lb kids. They slid so well that it would have been nice if the end of the slide was a little further from the edge of the pool.

The edge height is great - high enough to fill the pool up 6 inches or so, but low enough that the kids can still easily get out on their own.

The sprinkler jets have a built in control valve which is nice as it keeps you from having to run back and forth to the hose valve. Keep in mind though that the water is under pressure so it takes some time for the water to respond to changes. It is also hard to adjust the valve in small increments (we wanted it up just a little, but kept getting it too high or too low when making adjustments. We also have a section of sprinklers that tends to spray out instead of in the pool, but that might have something to do with the fact that the area isn\'t 100% level.

I can\'t speak to longevity as we have only had it for a couple of weeks, but thus far it seems to be holding air well (we haven\'t even had to top it off). Even if we had to replace it every summer for the price and amount of time we have spent in it it would be well worth it.

Overall - really great buy. Wish I had bought this one first!Great, fun pool | Rating : 4 | on : 2009-06-10
We\'ve only used it once, but it\'s a really nice size, and doesn\'t get too deep for the little ones. The slide, yes, as others have said, is not sturdy enough to actually ride on, but my son pushes his toys down it and likes to see them just slide themselves. Easy to inflate.Good choice for small toddler | Rating : 5 | on : 2009-06-08
This pool is large enough that an adult can sit comfortably while tending to little ones. My toddler loves it! Been using it for 1 month and no leaks or rips. Only hooked up the sprinkler attachment to the hose once but it worked nicely. Great product; plan to purchase another as backup.Fun for up to five kids | Rating : 5 | on : 2009-06-07
I bought this last year for my boys, ages 5, 3, and 3. They had a blast! They jumped, splashed, swam, and sailed their boats in it. There was even enough room for the neighbors kids, ages 7 and 5, to join in. It\'s true that the slide is not big or slippery enough to slide on, but the boys climbed on it and jumped in the \"mini pool\" in the corner. Only complaint--the palm tree won\'t stay upright.Fun for 3 and under, don\'t buy it for the slide | Rating : 4 | on : 2008-08-02
My son is 3 years old and he loves this pool. He is a big kid, he wears a size 5T, just so you know, but he cannot use the slide. Actually, my 20-pound baby daughter also cannot use the slide. It is pretty much worthless, so don\'t buy it for that. It can\'t hold up even a baby, and even if it could, it\'s plastic so it isn\'t slippery even with water on it. However, the rest of the pool is very nice, and I like that it has a little square section that you can have a little more shallow for a younger one. She\'s kind of protected in there from the splashings of the older one. It\'s a relatively large pool for a kiddie pool, too. And it\'s very nice that it also can be a sprinkler if you want. You blow up the sides with air, and you can just leave it that way or you can add a hose and the outer walls become sprinklers. All in all, it\'s a very nice pool and we\'re happy with it. The palm tree actually stands up pretty well too. Just make sure to point the leaves down instead of up, that helps it stand.
